August Full Moon

Today is a Blue Moon! This means it is the first full moon in August, the second being the 30th of August. It is also referred to as the Sturgeon Moon. This is in reference to the Giant Sturgeon fish of the Great Lakes in North America. Fun fact - they are called “living fossils” as they have been traced as far back as 136 million years ago! 🐟🐟🐟
